Craig Macartney

Craig Macartney is currently the AVP of AI & MLOps at Sutherland, focusing on digital transformation and growth. Prior to this role, they served as a Machine Learning Engineering & MLOps Squad Lead at Sky, where they productionized machine learning models. Craig worked as a researcher at City, University of London, specializing in deep learning approaches to speech processing and achieving state-of-the-art results in audio source separation. They hold a Master's degree in Data Science from City, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the University of Glasgow. Craig has a diverse technical skill set, with proficiency in several programming languages and tools pertinent to AI and data analysis.
