Israa Emad

Israa Emad has a diverse professional background with significant experience in higher education and customer service. From July 2017 to March 2023, Israa worked at Amideast/Egypt as a Scholar in the Higher Education Initiative, during which time a competitive scholarship was awarded to study Food Chemistry at the University of Nebraska, leading to notable research on water purification and a third-place finish at the Ninth Student Conference. In March 2023, Israa transitioned to Sutherland as a Subject Matter Expert, focusing on complex customer inquiries for the Lyft account, and conducting analyses to improve customer service processes. Additionally, roles as an Associate Safety Member and Call Center Representative involved monitoring safety metrics and providing technical support, respectively, with a strong emphasis on achieving high customer satisfaction. Israa holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Microbiology and Applied Chemistry from Alexandria University.
