Alice Yam

Alice Yam has over 16 years of work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Alice began their career in 2005 as a Research Fellow at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics and later became a Scientist in 2008. In 2012, they joined Sutro Biopharma, Inc. as a Scientist and quickly advanced to the position of Protein Engineering, HTS Group Leader in 2013. In 2014, they were promoted to Associate Director and in 2016, they became the Director of Protein Engineering, HTS. In 2018, they took on the role of Senior Director, overseeing Drug Discovery & Platform Programs. Alice Yam has demonstrated expertise in protein engineering and high-throughput screening throughout their career.

Alice Yam has completed a PhD in Biological Sciences from Stanford University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on Bioengineering and Molecular & Cell Biology.
