Tiffany Chen

Tiffany Chen has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and engineering fields. Tiffany recently joined Sutro Biopharma, Inc. as a Senior Research Associate in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Summer Intern at DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences in July and August 2020. From 2017 to 2020, Tiffany held various roles at AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers, including President, Cryodesalination Student Engineer I, Department Chair, Wave Power Conservation Student Engineer I, and External Committee Member. In January and February 2020, they served as the Human Resources Manager and Team Member at Global TIES-University of California, San Diego. In the summer of 2019, Tiffany was a Bioprocessing Intern at Keck Graduate Institute. Tiffany also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Nanobioelectronics from March to September 2018.

Tiffany Chen began their education at Seattle University in 2015, where they pursued an unspecified field of study. Tiffany then transferred to UC San Diego in 2017 and completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2020. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in the University of California, Berkeley in 2020 to pursue a Master of Bioprocess Engineering.
