Jacki Monson

Jacki Monson oversees the integration of Sutter Health’s strategy, operations, technology, people and processes across the organization. She also leads Sutter’s privacy and information security operations including cybersecurity.

A longtime Sutter leader, Monson most recently served as interim chief information officer, in addition to her roles of chief technology risk officer, chief information security officer and chief privacy officer. Prior to Sutter Health, Monson served as Mayo Clinic’s chief privacy officer. She was recently appointed chair of the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics and served as a member of the Department of Health and Human Services’ health care industry cybersecurity task force.

Monson earned her bachelor’s degree from The College of Saint Scholastica and a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Additionally, she holds multiple certifications in health care law, privacy, information security and compliance.
