Jim Sutton is the Co-Owner of Sutton Brothers Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, a significant subcontractor in central North Carolina, since June 2017, specializing in the installation of HVAC and plumbing systems for national home builders. Prior to this role, Jim served as the Director of Derivative Strategies at Hatteras Financial from March 2012 to June 2017, overseeing hedging activities and ensuring Dodd Frank compliance. Between June 1993 and September 2011, Jim held the position of Director for Global Rates and Currencies at Bank of America, marketing foreign exchange and rate derivatives to commercial clients. Jim began their career as an Associate at American Security Bank from April 1989 to August 1991, managing a $2.5 billion book in various capacities. Jim holds an MBA in Finance from Wake Forest University School of Business and a BA in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University.
