Pamela Hughes

Pamela Hughes has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on compliance and product management. Pamela is currently the Vice President of Compliance at Sutton National Group since May 2021. Previously, they served as the Director of Product Management at Builders Insurance Group from December 2015 to March 2023. Before that, they worked at Seibels as a Senior Business Analyst from February 2015 to December 2015. Pamela's early career was at Companion Property and Casualty Insurance Company, where they held various roles starting from 2002. These roles include Product Compliance Supervisor from February 2013 to February 2015, P&C Product Development Analyst from August 2012 to February 2013, P&C Product Compliance Analyst I from April 2005 to August 2012, and Senior Underwriting Assistant from March 2002 to April 2005. Throughout their career, Pamela has been responsible for regulatory compliance, project leadership, analyzing internal and external procedures, and providing advice and resources to management.

Pamela Hughes pursued their education starting from 1997 to 2000 at Midlands Technical College and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they attended Southern Wesleyan University where they acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services, General. Additionally, in December 2011, Pamela obtained a certification as a Certified Insurance Counselor from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
