Niko Knappe

Niko Knappe is a seasoned design professional specializing in UI and UX design, currently serving as the Lead UI Framework Designer at Suunto since February 2012, where Niko is focused on developing a UI framework to streamline the construction, testing, and prototyping of future UIs. Prior roles at Suunto included UI Designer, contributing significantly to various sports and outdoor product offerings. Niko's experience spans multiple design roles, including UI Graphic Designer/User Experience at Digia Plc for notable clients like Nokia, and Interactive Designer at Strukt GmbH. Previous positions also include UI Graphic Designer at Aspiro Finland and Graphic Designer at Mobile Avenue. Niko holds a Master of Arts in New Media from Aalto University, alongside additional qualifications in Design Innovation and Media Technology from esteemed institutions.
