Alok Sharma

Alok has 23 years of executive management experience in technology companies in India and Asia for some notable brands namely Apple, Sun Microsystems and WIPRO. As Managing Director of Apple India, he grew revenues from less than $10M to over $100M in 5 years. Earlier , he was in Sun for 8 years heading partner management for India, and later for South Asia based out of Singapore. Prior to Sun, Alok was heading the Northern Region for a SBU at Wipro. Since 2009, Alok has turned an entrepreneur. Since then, he has co-founded and invested in start-ups across sectors: Nature Ecoventures (an incubation fund); Allgreen Ecotech (energy management for buildings and enterprises); Vittal Innovation City (a 300 acre innovation science park near Bangalore in India); Tech Live Connect (focused on providing technology support to US consumers); Proficio Business Solutions (focused on Management and Sales consulting); and Cloudatix (focused on solutions on Cloud, Big Data and Analytics).Alok is also an active supporter of projects in the non-profit social and education sectors.
