Vir Bhanu

Vir is responsible for overall strategy, direction, and growth of business at Suventure. Prior to this, Vir was Vice President and Head of India Business at CIBER, a billion dollar global IT services organization.In his career, Vir has held several leadership positions in IT products and services organizations in business development, marketing, delivery, and business management in telecom, consumer electronics, semiconductor, automotive, and healthcare domains.

Earlier, Vir was co-founder of Knowledge Systems, a technology services start-up, that was scaled up and subsequently acquired by CIBER. Prior to that, Vir worked with Apple and held several leadership positions in product management, channels and, sales & marketing operations for the SAARC nations. Vir believes in leadership based on principles and trust. He thrives in building passionate, inspired, motivated teams that can keep redefining the bar and achieve extraordinary.

Vir holds MBA in Economics and Finance from West Chester University, Pennsylvania, and B.Tech from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York. Vir is a speaker at various business schools and forums and member of industry associations like TiE and NASSCOM. Vir loves most genres of music and is an avid reader. Vir and his wife Bhavana live in Bangalore with two children.
