Junghae Suh

Junghae Suh currently serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at SV Health Investors since September 2025. Suh has held various academic positions at Rice University since July 2007, progressing from Assistant Professor to Full Professor. Prior to the current role, Suh was Vice President at Biogen from August 2019 to September 2025, with responsibilities in driving innovation for AAV gene therapy, non-viral gene therapy, and antibody and protein biologics. Additionally, Suh worked as Executive Director of the Gene Therapy Accelerator Unit and completed postdoctoral training in viral gene delivery at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from 2005 to 2007. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
