Cameron Lucas is a Mechanical Design Engineer at SV Microwave since July 2022, with ongoing experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida's Laboratory for Additive Manufacturing since July 2019. Cameron's research focuses on gas atomization and the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) of various metals, specifically investigating processing parameters affecting stainless steels and conducting microstructure and melt pool analyses. Additionally, Cameron gained internship experience with the US Air Force as a Premier College Mechanical Engineering Intern, where collaboration with senior engineers aimed at enhancing production efficiency was the primary focus. Cameron holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2022.
