Christian Holst

Christian Holst has a rich and diverse work experience in the energy industry. Christian currently holds the position of SVP Development at Sval Energi, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they were the VP Facilities and Projects at Sval Energi from 2020 to 2022. Before joining Sval Energi, Christian worked at Equinor as the QAA Management Lead from 2018 to 2020 and as the Business Case Manager for Johan Sverdrup Phase 2 from 2017 to 2018. Christian also had a long tenure at Statoil, now Equinor, where they held various roles such as AOR Johan Sverdrup Future Phases, Johan Sverdrup Concept Selection Manager, and Manager BD. Christian joined Statoil in 2011 and worked there till 2016. Christian also has experience working in the US Gulf of Mexico as a Facilities Manager for Field Development at Statoil from 2008 to 2010. Christian'scareer began at ExxonMobil, where they were a Sr Facilities Engineer from 1990 to 1998. Overall, Christian has a strong background in development projects, field management, and subsea technology.

Christian Holst obtained their MSc in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between the years 1985 and 1989.
