Petter Myhre

Petter Myhre has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy industry. Petter currently holds the position of SVP Production at Sval Energi, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked for Centrica Exploration and Production for seven years, serving as VP BD & Commercial from May 2015 to May 2022. Before that, they were employed by KUFPEC as Country Manager from December 2013 to April 2015, and by EnQuest as Country Manager from January 2013 to November 2013. Their earlier roles include serving as Country Manager at BG Group from October 2004 to December 2012, as well as holding positions at ENGIE, Statoil, Amoco Norway Oil Company, and Elf Norge AS, where they gained experience in asset and business development, commercial analysis, and petroleum engineering. Petter's work experience spans over three decades and showcases their expertise in various aspects of the energy industry.

Petter Myhre pursued their education at the University of Stavanger from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Petroleum Engineering. Later in 1990, they enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder and completed a one-year program, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance, General in 1991.
