Pourdad Farzadi

Pourdad Farzadi is an accomplished geophysicist with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Principal Geophysicist at Sval Energi since March 2021, Pourdad has previously held significant roles at Edison Norge AS, where responsibilities included team leadership and specialist functions from 2014 to 2021. Prior to that, positions at Statoil and Norsk Hydro contributed to the development of expertise in geophysical analysis, reservoir characterization, and play evaluation. Pourdad began a career in geophysics at NIOC, with a foundational education culminating in a Ph.D. from the University of Bergen.
