Britta Schmitz's work experience begins in 2011 as a Project Officer at CDZ Sino-German Centre for Research Promotion. In this role, they managed grant applications, provided advice to applicants, prepared statistics and charts, and monitored developments in science and research in China. Britta worked closely with European partner organizations.
In 2015, they joined Netzsch Gerätebau GmbH as a Sales and Marketing Administrator. Britta held this role until 2019 and was responsible for various sales and marketing activities.
In 2019, they started working at Svar Life Science AB (formerly Euro Diagnostica AB) as a Team Leader for Order & Shipping, and their time there continues to the present.
Britta Schmitz holds a Master's degree in Modern China Studies from the University of Cologne. Additionally, they pursued a course in Logistik (distans) at the University of Gävle in 2021. In the same year, they also studied Patent and Intellectual Property Rights at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Britta has a background in Chinese Language and Literature, which they obtained from Nankai University. Furthermore, they possess a DGM Training Certificate in dangerous goods - UN1845, UN3373, and UN3245, which they obtained from DGM Sverige AB in January 2023.
