Rikki Thornton

Rikki Thornton is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the payments sector. Currently serving as Head of Marketing - Payments at Svea Bank since March 2022, Rikki leads the Nordic marketing team, overseeing strategy, execution, and budgeting, while also being an integral part of the Nordic leadership group for Payments. Prior to this role, Rikki was a Marketing Manager at Svea, focusing on three payment solutions and driving marketing activities to enhance brand awareness and lead generation. As a co-founder of SWIM: Sthlm Women in Marketing, Rikki focuses on empowering women in the marketing field. Rikki's previous experience includes roles at Trustly, where Rikki managed marketing projects and executed a global event strategy, as well as foundational positions at Widespace AB. Rikki holds a BA in International Media from San Francisco State University and has additional educational experience from Uppsala University.
