Amie Karlsson

Amie Karlsson is an experienced Communications Manager at Svensk Galopp, responsible for coordinating communication strategies and managing digital platforms since August 2018. As a self-employed freelance writer and photographer since June 2015, Amie creates content, conducts photography, and designs websites. Amie completed a two-year management trainee program at Godolphin Flying Start, focusing on thoroughbred horseracing and breeding, from August 2016 to July 2018. Previous roles also include serving as an Inquiry Secretary for the Swedish Government's Life Sciences coordination in 2015-2016 and an intern at the Swedish National Commission for UNESCO in 2014-2015, engaging in significant projects related to human rights and journalist safety. Amie holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Project Management from Karlstad University and a Master’s in Sociology of Law from Lund University. Continuing education in Sustainability-Driven Communication is currently underway at IHM Business School.
