Bertil Born

Bertil Born is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Kommunikationsutvecklare at Svenska kyrkan since August 2017, and as the owner of Borns ord & översättning since March 2012, engaging in writing, translation, journalism, and language consulting. Prior roles include Information Officer at Umeå University from March 2003 to March 2012, focusing on public communications regarding research and education in the Faculty of Medicine, and various journalism positions between 2001 and 2003 with Nordreportern and Upsala Nya Tidning. Bertil Born also has a background in translation and localization at Lemke Software GmbH from 1995 to 2009, and began professional development as a Teacher Assistant at Balderskolan in 1995. Educational accomplishments include a Magister in Science Journalism from Umeå University and a degree from Uppsala University, alongside a Gymnasieexamen in Engineering, Technology, Science.
