Magdalena Boork

Magdalena Boork is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Nationell energisamordnare at Svenska kyrkan since October 2021. Prior to this role, Magdalena worked as a Senior Projektledare at STUNS, where the focus was on enhancing regional collaboration for sustainable development and economic growth. An extensive background as a Senior Researcher and Researcher at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden included research on energy efficiency in buildings and user interactions with technology. Magdalena has also contributed to academia as a Teacher at Uppsala University and held a Research Assistant position at Högskolan Dalarna, engaging in international research projects related to solar energy. With a PhD in Engineering Science from Uppsala University, Magdalena’s expertise encompasses solar heating and energy systems, additionally strengthened by research experience at Kassel University.
