Anna C.T. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology/Biological Sciences from Caltech between 2008 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Biotechnology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, Anna spent a year studying Biotechnology, Economics, and Statistics as an Erasmus student at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2004-2005.
