Ola Ardung

Ola Ardung is a seasoned data scientist at Svenska Spel, with experience beginning in August 2019. Prior to this role, Ola worked as an IT consultant at Sweco from February 2017 to August 2019, focusing on digitalization, GIS, data visualization, statistics, data storage, analysis, and extraction, while also engaging in project management and coaching. At Uppsala University from 2015 to 2018, Ola served as an IT coordinator and teaching assistant, working with data storage, GIS, Big Data, and programming in R and Python. A master thesis on interoperability between commercial and open-source GIS was conducted at Geografiska Informationsbyrån GIB. Earlier experience includes a role as a caregiver in a psychiatric acute care unit at Akademiska sjukhuset from June 2014 to September 2016 and a brief stint as a summer employee at Sweco Position, where internal software development was supported. Ola holds a Master’s degree in Geomatics from Stockholm University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Uppsala University.
