Claes Bertilson serves as the Chief Press Officer at Sveriges Radio since January 2017, following a similar role at Sveriges Kommuner och Landsting from April 2006 to January 2017. Previously, Claes held positions at the British Embassy in Stockholm as Press and Public Affairs Officer and Media and Public Relations Officer from May 1997 to April 2006, and worked as a Visa Assistant and Receptionist at the Australian Embassy from June 1996 to April 1997. Claes began the professional journey at the Swedish Travel and Tourism Council in a trainee capacity from 1990 to 1994. Academic credentials include a BA in History and Politics from the University of Hull and various communications courses from Berghs School of Communications, along with additional training in management, law, and EU relations.
