Sven Carlsson

Sven Carlsson is an experienced tech reporter currently working for Sveriges Radio since January 2020, focusing on investigative reporting related to privacy, online tracking, and information security. Notable achievements include multiple shortlistings for prestigious awards, such as the Sigma Awards and the Grand Journalism Prize. Sven is also a co-author of "The Spotify Play," a corporate biography being adapted into a Netflix series, with international publications across several countries. Previous roles include reporting for Dagens industri covering tech and digital business, business reporting at Svenska Dagbladet, and a stint as a reporter at AFP's Stockholm bureau. Sven founded and edited Beatnik Creative, an online music site, and completed a Master of Science in Journalism at Columbia University and a BA in History and American Studies at the University of Nottingham.
