Annika Thoresson

Annika Thoresson is an experienced professional in innovation management, currently serving as Innovation Lead at Sveriges Riksbank since March 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Karolinska University Hospital, where Annika held various positions including Innovation Program Manager, Acting Section Manager for Team Innovation Partnerships, Program Manager for Cell Therapy, and Project Manager at The Center for Innovation, focusing on collaborations with industry partners. Prior to that, Annika worked as a Consultant Engineer in the Healthcare Business Unit at Alcimed and contributed to business development in quality and safety testing at Applied Biosystems. Annika holds a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has participated in several prestigious programs, including the Innovating Health for Tomorrow program at INSEAD.
