Heidi Elmér

Heidi Elmér has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on economics and asset management. Heidi is currently the Head of the Markets Department at Sveriges Riksbank since 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Economist at Skandia Norden from 2012 to 2014. Heidi has also held various positions at Sveriges Riksbank from 2009 to 2012, including Head of Division. Before that, they worked at Handelsbanken Asset Management as the Head of Fixed Income Asset Management and Senior Economist. Heidi began their career at Handelsbanken Capital Markets as a Senior Economist. Heidi also has teaching experience in economics at Stockholm University.

Heidi Elmér has a strong educational background in economics. Heidi completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Stockholm University from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they attended Kärrtorps Gymnasium from 1987 to 1990, where they focused on Business Administration, General (Ekonomisk linje) during their Upper Secondary School education. Heidi also participated in an exchange program at Kiel University in 1994, where they furthered their studies in Economics. Later, they pursued PhD studies in Economics at Stockholm School of Economics from 1996 to 1997.
