Kristian Jönsson

Kristian Jönsson has a diverse work experience in the field of economics. Kristian started their career as an Economist at the Ministry of Finance from January 2009 to February 2010. Kristian then joined Sveriges Riksbank as a Senior Economist from February 2010 to June 2011, and later as an Advisor from July 2011 to January 2015.

In 2013, Kristian Jönsson became an Associate Professor at Lund University, where they held the position of "Docent" until the present. Simultaneously, they also worked as an Economist at the National Institute of Economic Research from January 2015 to May 2017. From June 2017 to April 2018, they served as the Head of Division for GDP Analysis at the same institute.

Kristian'slatest role is Deputy Head of the Financial Stability Department at Sveriges Riksbank, starting from May 2018. These experiences highlight their extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of economics and financial stability.

Kristian Jönsson's education history starts with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business and Economics, Business Administration, and Accounting from Lund University. Kristian then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business and Economics, with a focus on Economics, from the same institution. Continuing their academic journey, Kristian obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Lund University.

In addition to their formal education, Kristian has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Kristian completed the Google Cybersecurity Certificate offered by Google and received the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from IBM. Kristian also completed various Python Basics courses authorized by the University of California, Davis and issued by Coursera. Additionally, Kristian earned certifications in Computer Vision Fundamentals with Google Cloud, IBM COBOL Basics, Introduction to Blockchain Technologies from INSEAD, Production Machine Learning Systems from Google Cloud Training Online, and Introduction to Enterprise Computing from IBM. Lastly, they obtained the GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) certification from GIAC Certifications.
