Paul Diaconescu

Paul Diaconescu is an experienced Backend Developer and Product Owner at SVT, starting in February 2014. Paul founded a team focused on building secure backend systems for synchronizing user data across SVT Play devices, emphasizing data privacy and performance. Previous roles at SVT include developing for iOS and improving the Apple TV app by transitioning it from JavaScript to TypeScript, as well as leading the Developer Experience team and implementing a microservice architecture. Prior experience includes positions at Spotify, Swedbank, and Qbranch, focusing on infrastructure and Unix system management. Paul holds a Master of Education from Stockholm University, specializing in Geography, Philosophy, and Pedagogy.
