Oleksandr Zaika

Oleksandr Zaika has a strong background in information security, with over 10 years of experience in various roles. Oleksandr is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer at Svitla Systems, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, they were an Information Security Officer/Compliance Officer at the same company from March 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Svitla Systems, Inc., Oleksandr worked as a Security Compliance Manager at Infopulse from December 2018 to March 2021. Oleksandr also has experience as an Information Security Manager at Arterium, where they were responsible for managing the Information Security department and overseeing various information security activities. This role lasted from July 2018 to December 2018.

Oleksandr also gained valuable experience at KPMG Ukraine, where they worked as an Information Security Supervisor from January 2014 to June 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Head of IT and Information Security department at the Ukraine State Road Transport Research Institute. In this role, they were responsible for establishing information security strategies and implementing enhancements.

Before their leadership roles, Oleksandr worked as a System Support Engineer at the Ukraine State Road Transport Research Institute from January 2000 to December 2003.

Oleksandr Zaika has a strong educational background in the field of information security and public administration. Oleksandr started their education in 1992 at Odesa State University in Ukraine, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Attorney. Following this, they pursued further studies at Ukraine National Aviation University in Kyiv from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Security Management, Secure software, Secure hardware & network, and Special secure devices.

Oleksandr Zaika's education continued with a postgraduate program at the Institute of Information Security at the State University of Information in Kyiv from 2006 to 2010, where they specialized in Computer and Information Systems Security.

In addition to their academic achievements, Oleksandr Zaika has also obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. These include the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27032 Lead Cybersecurity Manager, obtained from PECB in April 2020, the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in January 2019, and the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27005 Risk Manager certification from PECB in November 2019.
