Lise Demant

Lise Demant is the Managing Director of Svitzer Europe. Lise has over 20 years of experience in the shipping industry.

Demant started their career as a Shipping Trainee with A.P. Moller - Maersk in 1999. Lise then worked their way up to Assistant Manager at Maersk Tankers in Copenhagen. In 2006, they were promoted to Director, Head of Chartering for Maersk Tankers.

In 2010, Demant left Maersk Tankers to join Maersk Tankers as Director, Head of Offshoring. In this role, Demant was responsible for cross functional analysis and implementation of an offshore organisation (primarily India) within Maersk Tankers.

In October 2017, Demant joined Svitzer as Global Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, Demant was responsible for Svitzer's commercial performance and growth strategy globally.

In August 2020, Demant was promoted to Managing Director, Europe at Svitzer. In this role, Demant is responsible for leading Svitzer's operations and business in Europe.
