Michael Matthys is currently serving as the Planning Lead at WW+P in East Canada, a position held since 2026. Prior to this, they worked at SvN Architects + Planners from 2020 to 2022, where they progressed through various roles including Planning Lead and Senior Associate. Michael also gained valuable experience at DIALOG from 2018 to 2020, starting as a Planning Intern and ultimately becoming an Associate. Additionally, they contributed to the Sierra Club Canada - Prairie Chapter as an Executive Committee Member and Urban Affairs Volunteer from 2010 to 2012. Michael earned a Master of Science in Urban Planning and Development from the University of Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in political science and philosophy from the University of Alberta.
