Elizabeth Smyth

Elizabeth Smyth serves as the Head of Fundraising at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Ireland since January 2023. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held several significant positions including Head of Community & Regional Fundraising & Development and Community Fundraising Manager at Focus Ireland from August 2016 to January 2023. Additional experience includes serving as President of the Muckross Past Pupils Union, a Fundraiser for LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice, and General Manager at the Christina Noble Children's Foundation. Elizabeth's early career involved fundraising at Spinal Injuries Ireland, where a notable achievement was winning the Vodafone World of Difference placement competition. Academic qualifications include an Hons BA in Business from Griffith College Dublin and a Diploma in Project Management from UCD Professional Academy, among others, reflecting a strong background in fundraising and management within the non-profit sector.
