Sergei Spiridonov

Mr. Spiridonov is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Investment Operating Team in Europe.

Before joining Strategic Value Partners, Mr. Spiridonov spent 8 years at Sun Capital where he was a Managing Director in the Operations Team, following his role as a Group COO. While at Sun Capital, Mr. Spiridonov drove transformation and operational improvements at portfolio companies across a number of industries, including consumer and business services, agriculture, retail, industrial, distribution, and food. Prior to Sun Capital, Mr. Spiridonov led the strategic transformation team at Tesco and worked as a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where over 11 years he supported multiple businesses across Europe and the U.S.

Mr. Spiridonov received an M.B.A. from The Harvard Business School and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.
