Sujan Patel

Prior to joining SVP, Mr. Patel served as Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S. Investment Management at Colony Capital Inc., which resulted from Colony’s purchase of NorthStar Asset Management and NorthStar Realty Finance in January 2017. From 2007 to 2017, Mr. Patel worked at the NorthStar companies, most recently serving as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Investments, where he led over $25 billion in investments across office, hospitality, multi-family, manufactured housing, logistics, retail and other real estate sectors. Earlier, Mr. Patel was the Vice President of Acquisitions at Thayer Lodging Group, now part of Brookfield, and he started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Patel received a BA in Engineering Science and Economics from Dartmouth College.
