Taylor Helmick

Taylor Helmick serves as the IT Platform Manager for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality at Swagelok since April 2023. Previously, Taylor held various roles at Ohio Gratings, Inc. over a span of 15 years, ultimately serving as the Director of Manufacturing Systems where Taylor implemented a new ERP system and enhanced organizational maturity in inventory management and system architecture. As a Business Solutions Architect, Taylor led a development team to customize AutoCAD and SigmaNest for better ERP connectivity and introduced robotic work centers to boost manufacturing efficiency. Earlier experience includes roles as Engineering Manager, where Taylor managed a team focused on sales estimates and project management, and as Engineer/Product Design, collaborating with customers to create tailored solutions. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology from The University of Akron.
