Chris Walton is currently a Technical Advisor at Swagelok. Prior to that, they were an Account Manager at Hilti Group from March 2020 to September 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Project Analyst at Advanced Frac Systems from January 2016 to January 2018.
At Advanced Frac Systems, Chris managed the manufacturing lifecycle of products from concept through prototype qualification and release for production manufacturing. Chris also sought out vendors to provide solutions to technical challenges and access to advanced technologies such as dissolvable materials, coatings, and compression molding capabilities to reduce cost by 45+ percent while simultaneously maximizing product performance. Additionally, Chris collaborated with engineering to procure a variety of test equipment including 4-channel, 15,000-psi pressure pumping cart with real-time monitoring and data logging system, high-pressure nitrogen-to-oil accumulator system, and test bunker with slide-out fixture system to reduce rig-up times by 75+ percent. Chris also prepared status update meetings with senior management of NOV; responsible for manufacturing timelines, presenting accomplishments and explaining project schedule deviations. Lastly, they navigated the evolving material supplier market; built and managed supplier relationships; gauged capability and reliability of suppliers.
Christ Walton holds a Master of Arts in Sport Management from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to their collegiate career, they attended Kingwood High School.
