Preetam B

Preetam B has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Preetam is currently the Head of Technology at Swagger Sales since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Cognizant as a Senior Associate from 2015 to 2022, where they were responsible for requirement analysis, design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of projects. Preetam also led the team during release management activities and chaired meetings with stakeholders.

Before Cognizant, Preetam worked at CodeForce 360 as a Developer from 2014 to 2015. Preetam was involved in all phases of the software life cycle, including requirement gathering, designing, implementation, testing, and deployment. Preetam coordinated and supported the Quality Assurance team and participated in release management activities.

Preetam also gained experience at Freddie Mac as a Programmer Analyst in 2013, where they analyzed engineering and data processing problems, reviewed system capabilities, and played a key role in the application architecture design. Preetam also wrote SQL queries, implemented design patterns, and estimated project efforts.

Prior to their roles in the IT industry, Preetam worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Memphis in 2012. Preetam also gained valuable experience as a Management Trainee at GE Energy in 2012, where they developed and implemented techniques to improve manufacturing efficiency and supply-chain efficiencies.

In 2010, Preetam worked as a Systems Engineer at IBM, where they were responsible for ISDN backup testing, configuration backup, and troubleshooting of routers and switches. Preetam also gained hands-on experience in a bank Data Centre. Earlier in 2010, they worked as an Industrial Trainee at Honeywell, where they worked on requirement collection, ASP.NET basics, and database support.

Preetam's earliest work experience was as an Implant Trainee at ISRO in 2009.

Preetam B's education history includes a degree in Management Information Systems, General from The University of Memphis. Preetam also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Operations Management from Alliance University, School of Business. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
