Ziri Issa

Ziriissa is currently the Director of Technology at Swahilipot Hub. Prior to this, they worked as an Enterprise Resources Planning Consultant at Memon Academy, where they were responsible for systems analysis, data migration from legacy system to modern ERP, training staff on Odoo functionality, and managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure. They also implemented Moodle and virtual classroom software during the COVID19 pandemic.

Before working at Memon Academy, Ziriissa worked as a software developer for Innovus Group. There they were responsible for designing and implementing ICT projects and programs, business process improvement and automation, data migration, creating backup copies of data, daily maintenance of firewall protection and file security, database security, and preventing data loss. They also provided guidance and mentorship to team members. In addition to working with Memon Academy, Ziriissa has also consulted for a wide range of ERPs, CRMs and HRMs, both commercial and open source.

Ziriissa has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Maseno University. Ziri also has certifications from Pluralsight in Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine: Foundations, Developing a Google SRE Culture, and Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals - Core Infrastructure. Additionally, they have certifications from The Tor Project in How to bypass internet censorship and How to protect your identity online, as well as a VMware certification in Introduction to Virtualization.
