Sr. Software Engineer at Swampfox Technologies

Eric Phetteplace has a diverse work experience in the field of IVR and technology. Eric started their career in 1998 as the owner of Next IVR. Later, they worked as a Sr. IVR Consultant at Workscape, where they architected and maintained the IVR environments and delivered custom IVR solutions.

Eric also worked at Time Warner Cable from 2008 to 2011 as a Sr. Developer, where they played a crucial role in consolidating the telecommunications systems. Their main focus was on IVR systems, including inbound and outbound apps, middle-tier connectivity, app server installation, and troubleshooting.

In 2010, Eric became the CTO at Arca+, where they worked on the development and architecture of their legacy IVR conversion product. Eric was also involved in sales, marketing, and operations.

Eric co-founded Blue Flame Industries in 2011 and served as the CTO until 2015. During this time, they were responsible for developing and delivering Avaya solutions for various clients.

From 2013 to 2014, Eric was the Co-Founder and CTO of Skyepass, a startup focused on providing multi-layered biometric authentication services. The company aimed to tackle cyber fraud and eliminate the need for passwords.

In 2015, Eric worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Swampfox Technologies, where they collaborated with customer-facing teams to deliver Avaya solutions for POM, EPM, and AOD.

In 2016, they joined InfinityCTI as a Sr. Consultant, specializing in developing custom applications using Avaya Aura Experience Portal and Avaya Aura Orchestration Designer.

Eric's most recent work experience is as a Sr. Consultant at Waterfield Technologies, starting in 2017. Overall, they have gained extensive expertise and experience in the IVR industry, particularly in designing, developing, and delivering Avaya solutions.

Eric Phetteplace earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Babson College, where they studied from 1990 to 1993.

In addition to their degree, Eric has obtained several certifications. In January 2019, they completed the "Spring Boot 2 Essential Training" course at Lynda.com. In February 2019, they obtained the "Spring: Framework In Depth" certification, also from Lynda.com. Furthermore, in April 2015, they completed the "ASP.NET MVC 4 Essential Training" course at lynda.com.

More recently, in January 2022, Eric achieved the "Ultimate AWS Certified Developer Associate 2022" certification from Udemy. Finally, in October 2022, they obtained the "Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals" certification from LinkedIn.
