Scott Coombes

Scott Coombes has extensive experience in telecommunications engineering and technical support. Scott currently holds the position of Senior Telecommunications Engineer at Swampfox Technologies since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Support Senior Engineer at Avaya, supporting Experience Portal and Proactive Outreach Manager globally from April 2022 to December 2022. Scott also worked as a Training Specialist at Introhive from June 2021 to November 2021. Scott holds the role of Technical Trainer and Developer at Innovatia from April 2018 to June 2021, where they trained classes internally for Unified Communications globally and designed new courses based on customer needs. Before that, Scott worked in various roles at Innovatia, focusing on backbone support and Avaya Unified Communications. Scott also has experience as a Mentor at Sitel, where they trained and managed new hires, as well as provided specialty training on HTC cellular devices. Prior to their telecommunications career, Scott worked as a Contractor in different offices for WorkSafeNB/Travail sécuritaire NB, with significant experience in the Inquires division and the Business office in Grand Bay.

Scott Coombes attended the University of New Brunswick from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in European History and Political Science. Additionally, they received certifications in Avaya Linux, Avaya Voice Portal/POM/ICR, Avaya Communication Manager, and Avaya System Manager.
