Alvaro H.

Alvaro H. is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and product management, currently serving as Lead Engineer and Product Manager at Swann Communications since March 2014. In this capacity, Alvaro specializes in Security and Connected Home products, overseeing the entire product development lifecycle while collaborating with global teams. Prior to this, Alvaro worked at Telstra for two decades, holding the position of Emerging Technology Specialist, where Alvaro identified technology trends, developed financial models, and contributed to successful innovative products, earning multiple awards. Additionally, Alvaro served as a Senior Research Fellow, providing consultancy, prototyping commercial software, and authoring research papers. Earlier experience includes a Research Scientist role at CSIRO, focusing on VLSI PCBs for Parallel Computing Systems. Alvaro holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Melbourne and a Master's degree in Telecommunications from Monash University.
