Michael Forbes

Michael Forbes has worked in the golf industry since 2013. Michael began their career at Black Bear Ridge Golf Course as a Pro Shop Assistant in 2013. In 2017, they became an Apprentice Golf Professional at The National Golf Club of Canada. In 2018, they were hired as a Senior Research Associate at Evidence Based Golf. In 2020, Michael Forbes became a Co-Founder of The Preferred Lie and a Golf Literature Research Contractor for the United States Golf Association (USGA). In 2021, they were hired as a Technical Fitting Representative for Mizuno Corporation and an Eastern Canada Territory Manager for Swannies.

Michael Forbes obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McMaster University between 2010 and 2014. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa from 2015 to 2017. In May 2019, Michael Forbes obtained a TPI Level 1 Certification from Titliest Performance Institute.
