Alan Beal

Alan Beal has extensive work experience in the mining industry. Alan started their career as the Manager of Mechanical Engineering at Southland Colliery Thiess in 2001. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as the Engineering Manager at Glennies Creek Coal Mine. Alan then moved on to become the General Manager of NSW Australia at Inbye Mining Services from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they worked as a Project Manager at Integra Coal Operation from 2010 to 2013. Alan then served as the Engineering and Planning Superintendent at Integra Coal Operations Pty Ltd from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined UGM Australia as a Business Development Engineer - Longwalls. In 2015, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Kopex Waratah. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Swanson Industries, Inc. starting from 2016.

From 1974 to 1980, Alan Beal attended Whitwood Mining and Technical College in the United Kingdom, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During their time there, they completed an AMEME honors program in Mechanical Engineering, as well as earned certifications in City and Guilds London Mechanical Engineering and Technicians.
