Janne Korpela

Janne Korpela has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Janne is currently working at Swappie as the Vice President of Markets, responsible for overseeing market expansion and P&L management. Before that, they held the position of Head of New Markets and Country Manager, New Markets at Swappie, where they successfully led the expansion to multiple new markets and drove significant revenue growth. Janne also co-founded and served as the Chairman of Real Skifi, a popular freeski video series with a large following. Janne was previously employed at Bain & Company as a Senior Associate Consultant, where they specialized in private equity, tech, and advanced manufacturing & services industries. Janne also gained experience at Slush, a leading startup and technology event, where they held the role of Chief of Investor Operations. Additionally, they co-founded and served as a Fund Manager at Wave Ventures, and worked as an Associate Consultant Intern at Bain & Company. Janne's earlier experiences include working at Unrealer Oy as a Business Developer, Telia Company as a Customer Delivery Officer, and the Finnish Air Force as a Pilot Reserve Officer. Janne also had a summer trainee position at the University of Jyväskylä.

Janne Korpela holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University and a Bachelor's degree in Exchange Studies from QUT (Queensland University of Technology). Janne also completed their High School education with a focus on Sports class at the University of Jyväskylä. Janne has also attained a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University.
