Marja Kontiokari

Marja Kontiokari has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Marja is currently the Chief People Officer at Swappie, where they lead the global People function and oversees a team of HR professionals. Prior to this, Marja held the position of Vice President Human Resources at Swappie and was responsible for managing the company's global HR operations. Before joining Swappie, Marja worked at CGI, where they served as the Human Resources Director for CGI Public and CGI Global Technology Operations and led a team of HR professionals. Additionally, Marja has experience in talent acquisition and employer branding, as well as managing HR activities for CGI's Global Technology Operations in multiple countries. Prior to their roles at CGI, they held various HR leadership positions at Logic and Fennia. Marja began their career as a Communications Specialist at Kemira.

Marja Kontiokari completed their doctoral studies at Sciences Po in 2002. Prior to that, they earned a master's degree from the University of Vaasa in 2001. Currently, they are studying Asian business at Aalto University.
