Barbara Eck's work experience includes various roles in marketing and strategy. From 2013 to the present, they worked at SWAROVSKI as the Head of Global Marketing, where they were responsible for market testing and developing a jewelry collection with lab-created diamonds. Barbara also developed concepts for the loose stone diamond business and set up a pilot program for Swarovski Created Diamonds Jewelry in the US. Prior to this, Barbara worked as a Marketing Consultant at Eck Consulting from 2011 to 2013. Barbara also held the position of Vice President Strategy at Swarovski Optik from 2007 to 2010. Barbara has extensive experience in marketing at SWAROVSKI, where they worked as a Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager Innovation, Consumer Goods Business from 1999 to 2007. Before joining SWAROVSKI, they were a Product Manager at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Goods, where they were responsible for marketing planning and implementation. Barbara started their career as a Marketing Assistant at L'Austria per Italia - part of Austrian Tourist Board and later worked as a Junior Product Manager at Holzindustrie Fritz.

Barbara Eck completed Leadership Training in "Being Powerful" at the Future Coaching Academy from 2018 to 2019. Barbara earned their Magister and Master degrees in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the Universität Innsbruck from 1988 to 1994. Additionally, they participated in an Exchange Semester in Business Management at the University of New Orleans in 1991.
