Amanda Bayer currently serves as the Franklin and Betty Barr Professor of Economics and Department Chair at Swarthmore College since December 2020. Prior to this role, Amanda held the position of Visiting Senior Adviser at the Federal Reserve Board from September 2015 to January 2025. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Psychology from Williams College.
