Erin Brownlee Dell

Erin Brownlee Dell is an experienced higher education administrator with a diverse background in academic and administrative roles. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and Secretary of the College at Swarthmore College since September 2021, Erin has previously held multiple positions at Guilford College from September 2006 to June 2021, including Assistant Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Chief of Staff and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Associate Academic Dean, and Assistant Academic Dean. Erin's earlier experience includes serving as Program Coordinator at Laspau from 1994 to 2003. Academically, Erin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education and Cultural Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and Spanish from Kalamazoo College.
