Tomoko Sakomura

Tomoko Sakomura has extensive experience in academia, holding various positions at Swarthmore College since 2005, including Provost and Dean of the Faculty, Professor of Art History, and Interim Vice President for Student Affairs. Prior roles at Swarthmore include Dean of Students and Assistant Vice President and Dean of Academic Success. Tomoko also served as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and held teaching positions at Keio University. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Art History from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Keio University.
