Farzan Jazayeri

Farzan Jazayeri is a Senior RD Semiconductor Device Engineer at Swatch Group since March 2019 and has been a Scientist and Research Scientist at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) since January 2012, where involvement includes leading international collaborative projects in solid-state physics, focusing on cryogenic infrastructure for qubits, radiation damage in advanced devices for CERN, development of Pinned Photodiodes for CIS, and modeling AlGaN-GaN heterostructures in partnership with IMEC. Previous roles include Electronic Engineer at Tehran Regional Electric Co. (TREC) and RD Electronic Engineer at SAMIM Group, with experience in FPGA-based hardware implementation and design of broadcast systems. Farzan Jazayeri holds a Ph.D. in Microsystems and Microelectronics Engineering from EPFL and a Master's degree in Circuits and Systems from the University of Tehran.
